Description: The DC Improv Comedy Club is hosting a special local comedy showcase in our Comedy Lounge. Please note this is not our main showroom. DC is notorious for launching the careers of such comedy greats as, Dave Chappelle, Lewis Black, Tommy Davidson and Wanda Sykes.

Featuring Comedians:
Courtney Fearrington: Courtney has already shown he has the ability to make any group of people laugh. His style of comedy crosses boundaries and touches on a variety of topics. He has quickly become a fixture in the DC area comedy scene with his likeable personality and quick wit. As a comedian Courtney has been featured at comedy clubs and festivals all over the country. Along with touring clubs he has been heard on DC101's syndicated radio show Elliot in The Morning and Sirius XM radio.
Rahmein Mostafavi: Rahmein is one of the areas only Iranian-American comedians. His high energy and social/political commentary are both original and hilarious . He has been in the performing arts for the past 15 years and is a former long time cast member of the uproarious murder mystery Shear Madness at the Kennedy Center in Washington DC. Since launching his stand up career, his quick wit and endearing stage presence have made him a fast favorite in the metro and surrounding areas. He has shared the stage with some of the best comics in the nation including Tim Meadows (SNL), The Sklar Brothers, Joe Matarese, Bob Marley, Jake Johannsen and Maz Jobrani! He is also on a regular on Broadminded Broads on SiriusXM.
Brandon Wardell does stand-up comedy jokes. Brandon Wardell has been invited to perform at festivals including the South by Southwest Music Festival and the Bridgetown Comedy Festival. Brandon Wardell was profiled in the Washington Post in October 2012 and the article is displayed in his former orthodontist's lobby. Brandon Wardell lives in Washington, D.C.
Chris White started doing stand-up comedy in Washington and helped other people do the same by founding Dcstandup.com in 2003. Since then, he has performed at comedy clubs across the country and has appeared on network television for upwards of 93 seconds. Chris is the host of Happy Hour Trivia and the DC Improv podcast, and he he has two albums available on iTunes -- "I Take Requests" and "Forbidden Style."
The DC Improv Comedy Lounge will be serving a full dinner menu and drinks. Doors open at 6:30 pm. Show is at 8 pm.
- The ticket price does not include any food or beverages. All menu items are ordered the night of the show.
- 8:00 pm dinner shows are seated on first come first served basis. Doors open at 6:30pm for seating.
- 10:30 pm shows are assigned seats according to date reservation made (e.g. earliest advanced ticket purchase = best seats)
- If you purchased tickets to a 10:30 pm show and would like to be seated together with another party, please call The DC Improv at 202-296-7008 and inform us ahead of time.
- All tickets purchased to shows with the phrase "hosted in The Comedy Lounge" or "hosted in our side room" are only valid for shows in our Comedy Lounge.
