Description: The DC Improv is searching for the funniest college student in the Washington D.C. and surrounding areas and will host showcases at several universities around town as part of our 10th Annual Funniest College Competition. On Wednesday, March 27, 2013 The DC Improv will be showcasing students from various universities that were unable to host the event on their campuses.

This show will feature college students/comedians performing 5 minutes of original stand-up material in front of an audience of their peers and a panel of expert judges. Two students will be selected as winners and will be invited to perform for the finals to be held at The DC Improv on April 11, 2013. At the finals, one student will be crowned the winner and is rewarded with a paid hosting gig at The DC Improv plus additional prizes. The prize for the University is a reputation for housing some of the funniest students in the area.
- The ticket price does not include any food or beverages. All menu items are ordered the night of the show.
- 8:00 pm dinner shows are seated on first come first served basis. Doors open at 6:30pm for seating.
- 10:30 pm shows are assigned seats according to date reservation made (e.g. earliest advanced ticket purchase = best seats)
- If you purchased tickets to a 10:30 pm show and would like to be seated together with another party, please call The DC Improv at 202-296-7008 and inform us ahead of time.
- All tickets purchased to shows with the phrase "hosted in The Comedy Lounge" or "hosted in our side room" are only valid for shows in our Comedy Lounge.
