Description: ABOUT THE SHOW: The DC Improv is pleased to team up once again with the well known series on American Public Television (APT)  "The Truth About Money" with nationally acclaimed financial adviser Ric Edelman for their upcoming season. Several local comedians will be performing material based on financial humor and will be filmed for upcoming episodes of this series. Since the term "financial humor" is so broad, the show will basically deal with anything and everything having to do with money. For instance topics discussed may include aging, debt, credit cards, wall street, brokers, insurance agents, mutual funds, banks, mortgages, CEOs, paying for college, wedding costs, costs of kids, wills, trusts, inheritances, family fights over money, allowances, budgeting and just about anything and everything involving a $ sign.

Come check out some of the best DC comedy has to offer and be a part of a live television show taping. Tickets are only $10.00.

  • The ticket price does not include any food or beverages. All menu items are ordered the night of the show.
  • 8:00 pm dinner shows are seated on first come first served basis. Doors open at 6:30pm for seating.
  • 10:30 pm shows are assigned seats according to date reservation made (e.g. earliest advanced ticket purchase = best seats)
  • If you purchased tickets to a 10:30 pm show and would like to be seated together with another party, please call The DC Improv at 202-296-7008 and inform us ahead of time.
  • All tickets purchased to shows with the phrase "hosted in The Comedy Lounge" or "hosted in our side room" are only valid for shows in our Comedy Lounge.
