Happy Hour Trivia Night in The Comedy Lounge

Description:

On Wednesday, October 17, 2012 Happy Hour Trivia returns to The DC Improv. As part of The DC Improv Annual Children's National Halloween Benefit we are encouraging all attendees to bring donations for Children's National Medical Center (see below). Happy Hour Trivia is FREE to attend. If you'd like to participate in this event please call The DC Improv at 202.296.7008 to sign-up or e-mail us at info@dcimprov.com. No groups larger than 8 allowed to sign up. Doors open at 6:30pm for seating. Even with reservations, if you do not arrive by 6:45 pm we cannot guarantee your seats; they will be released to the stand-by list. The event will start at 7 pm and run approximately 90 minutes. Attendance for Happy Hour Trivia does not guarantee admission to the comedy show in the main room. Tickets must be purchased for the comedy show separately. Seating will be reserved for those attending both events. Due to the 8pm showtime in the main showroom; if you participate in Happy Hour Trivia you will miss at least 30 minutes of the show in the main room.

Full menu will be made available. Teams are recommended.

THE DC IMPROV WILL BE A COLLECTION SITE TO DROP OFF COSTUMES AND DECORATIONS TO HELP BRING THE SPIRIT OF HALLOWEEN TO THE CHILDREN IN THE HOSPITAL. NO CANDY OR EDIBLE ITEMS PLEASE. ALL GIFTS MUST BE BRAND NEW AND ITS ORIGINAL PACKAGING FOR DISEASE/INFECTION CONTROL IN ORDER TO BE ACCEPTED BY CHILDREN'S NATIONAL MEDICAL CENTER.

Trivia is hosted by Chris White, a leader of the 1994 Penncrest High School championship Scott's Hi-Q Team. This particular trivia night beyond standard q&a, features funny videos plus a few other surprises.

  • The ticket price does not include any food or beverages. All menu items are ordered the night of the show.
  • 8:00 pm dinner shows are seated on first come first served basis. Doors open at 6:30pm for seating.
  • 10:30 pm shows are assigned seats according to date reservation made (e.g. earliest advanced ticket purchase = best seats)
  • If you purchased tickets to a 10:30 pm show and would like to be seated together with another party, please call The DC Improv at 202-296-7008 and inform us ahead of time.
  • All tickets purchased to shows with the phrase "hosted in The Comedy Lounge" or "hosted in our side room" are only valid for shows in our Comedy Lounge.
