Description: The DC Improv Comedy Club is hosting a special local comedy showcase in our Comedy Lounge. Please note this is not our main showroom. DC is notorious for launching the careers of such comedy greats as, Dave Chappelle, Lewis Black, Tommy Davidson and Wanda Sykes.\
Featuring Comedians:
Andy Kline: Since getting his comedy start in D.C., Andy Kline has branched out to clubs across the country, in addition to regular appearances on 98 Rock and SiruisXM Radio. Andy can also be heard weekly on the acclaimed comedy podcast, Three Guys On - www.threeguyson.com. With a mix of strong opinions, insight, and common sense, Andy manages to be more than just funny. He manages to be memorable. Andy's talents have enabled him to work with some of the biggest names in the business, including Dave Chappelle, Wanda Sykes, and Marc Maron.
Jon Mumma: started his comedy career in Washington, DC by pursuing stage time wherever he could get it. Over the past seven years, he has performed at comedy clubs, theatres, bars, coffee shops, bowling alleys, a bachelorette party, a ”naturist resort,” crab feasts, bar mitzvahs, birthday parties, corporate events, moose lodges, weddings, high schools, colleges, cafeterias, military bases and many more. These experiences helped forge a likeable character onstage with crossover appeal to a wide range of audiences.
Jon’s persistence and hardwork has allowed him to work at some of the top clubs in the country performing with some of the nation’s top headliners including Ben Bailey, Carlos Mencia, Charlie Murphy, and the late Greg Giraldo. He was the 2006 winner of the DC Improv’s annual stand-up comedy competition; he has performed for our nation’s troops, and he can be heard regularly on SiriusXM Satellite Radio’s Comedy Channel.
Tim Miller: After an 8 years in the US Army Damone Miller began performing all over DC and is now one of the most heard voices on the local scene. Combining goofy energy with minimal wit he can command the stage. He can be heard on XM Satellite Radio and can be seen on Comcast-on-Demand. See you at the show.
Jeff Maurer: Jeff was a Semifinalist in Season 7 of Last Comic Standing and is known in the Washington area as the face of the Washington Auto Show's "Dr. Guy" ad campaign. He has been featured on Sirius Satellite Radio and Comcast on Demand, and also won the 2009 Funniest Fed Contest, the 2008 Drafthouse Comedy Challenge, and the May 2005 DC Improv Comedy Showcase. A DC resident, he was recently featured at the Bentzen Ball Comedy Festival and has been seen at clubs and colleges up and down the East Coast.
- The ticket price does not include any food or beverages. All menu items are ordered the night of the show.
- 8:00 pm dinner shows are seated on first come first served basis. Doors open at 6:30pm for seating.
- 10:30 pm shows are assigned seats according to date reservation made (e.g. earliest advanced ticket purchase = best seats)
- If you purchased tickets to a 10:30 pm show and would like to be seated together with another party, please call The DC Improv at 202-296-7008 and inform us ahead of time.
- All tickets purchased to shows with the phrase "hosted in The Comedy Lounge" or "hosted in our side room" are only valid for shows in our Comedy Lounge.
