CLASS: Five Minutes to Funny with Chris Coccia (Special Event)

Chris Coccia

Sundays, March 5 - March 26, 12:30-4 p.m. Graduation show at the Improv on April 12.

The DC Improv is proud to host "Stand-Up Comedy: Five Minutes to Funny" During this course, you will do hands-on training with instructor Chris Coccia. Don't get fooled by the title -- this class is not promising to make you funny in five minutes. It helps you put together five funny minutes. Why five minutes? Because a good five minute set will carry you through a comedy career from start to stardom. It will be your open stage set, it will be your audition set and it will be your spot on any number of late night shows. This class will be about creating and polishing that five-minute set.

PLEASE NOTE: Tuition for this class is $350, and all students must be 18 or older. Once a reservation is made, there are no refunds, exchanges or cancellations.

WAIT LIST POLICY: If you'd like to be placed on the wait list for any course please email and specify the course in the subject line. The wait list is done via email and once a class is announced via email, the first few people to pay in full get into the course. Please note if you miss out on registering & you’d like to continue to stay on the waitlist for this class you must email requesting that. You are not automatically enrolled into the waitlist for the next announcement unless you request to do so.
