“Washington has been the home of a number of very good comics and a few great ones (Wanda Sykes, Dave Chappelle, Lewis Black, Martin Lawrence). Erin Jackson could be next in line.” – The Washington Post
Armed with a megawatt smile and a pocket full of dreams, Erin Jackson is poised to conquer the world of stand-up. In fact, she’d probably be a superstar by now if her friends and family hadn’t spent so many years hating on her dreams and stealing her joy.
Since first making a name for herself at colleges and east coast comedy clubs, Erin’s conversational style and relatable humor have helped to propel her onto the national stage. In 2013, Erin traveled with Dave Chappelle as the opening act for his summer tour and landed a co-hosting spot on “Exhale,” a provocative and candid talk series, now in its second season on Earvin “Magic” Johnson’s ASPiRE television network. She was also nominated “Best Female Entertainer” by Campus Activities Magazine, the official publication of the National Association for Campus Activities (NACA).
Erin has performed stand-up on “The Ellen DeGeneres Show,” OWN’s “Wanda Sykes Presents Herlarious,” Comedy Central’s “Live at Gotham,” TV Guide Network’s “Standup in Stilettos” and was a semifinalist on season 6 of NBC’s “Last Comic Standing.” She has appeared on VH-1 and TV Guide Network as a panelist on pop-culture countdown shows such as “40 Greatest Hip Hop Songs of the 90′s” and “Best Movie Kisses,” and her writing has been featured in The Washington Post and on NYTimes.com.
A proud alumna of Howard University, Erin is also obsessed with the Philadelphia Eagles.

The first show of any night is the "early" show. All other shows are "late" shows. Early shows are seated by time of arrival. The earlier you get to the club, the better your seat will be. Late shows have assigned seating by time of ticket purchase. The earlier you buy tickets, the better your seats will be.
DOOR TIMES: Doors usually open at 6:30 when the early show is at 8. (When the early show is at 7, we open at 6.) Seating for late shows usually begins 30 minutes before showtime. If you purchased tickets to a late show and would like to be seated together with another party, call the Improv at 202-296-7008 and inform us ahead of time.
