Five Minutes to Funny Graduation Show

The DC Improv Comedy School along with instructor Chris Coccia are proud to host the "Five Minutes to Funny" Graduation Showcase. After four weeks of comedy school these newly armed comics are ready to showcase everything they learned in front of a live audience. With Chris Coccia as the host for the evening, this promises to be a hilarious night for everyone.

Native Philadelphian Chris Coccia is one of America's busiest comedians -- at home and on the road. Besides being a favorite at America's top clubs like the Improv and Catch a Rising Star, Chris has been called upon to entertain American troops on military bases in Korea, Japan, and Guam. Chris has been seen on Comedy Central's "Stand and Deliver" as well on Las Vegas' best stages where he has worked as an opening act for (among others) David Sanborn, Chicago, and the Oak Ridge Boys. Chris won the Purina pet comedy challenge 2008, and was a finalist at the inaugural Great American Comedy Festival in Norfork, NE hosted by Eddie Brill. He can also be spotted on The Game Show Network.

Chris Coccia's comedy CD is available through the DC Improv website and the DC Improv box office as well.

Seating Policies

The first show of any night is the "early" show. All other shows are "late" shows. (Most shows at the Improv are at 8 or 10:30.) Early shows are seated according to the time of your arrival. The earlier you get to the club, the better your seat will be. Late shows have assigned seating according to the time of ticket purchase. The earlier you buy tickets, the better your seats will be.

DOOR TIMES: Doors usually open at 6:30 when the early show is at 8. (When the early show is at 7, we open at 6.) Seating for late shows usually begins 30 minutes before showtime. If you purchased tickets to a late show and would like to be seated together with another party, call the Improv at 202-296-7008 and inform us ahead of time.
